Truck Driver - Class 2 Wellington
The Role
We are seeking a reliable Class 2 driver to complete scheduled deliveries across the Wellington region. The role involves safely operating a Class 2 truck, navigating steep streets and tight accessways, loading and unloading freight, and providing excellent customer service. Ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, hands-on role combining driving and physical work.
What you can offer us:
- Full NZ Class 2 licence with at least 2 - 3 years experience on NZ roads.
- A very strong commitment to health and safety.
- Forklift certificate preferred.
- Confidence driving in Wellington’s steep, narrow streets and varied terrain.
- You’re a team player who’s willing to assist where needed.
- You’re good humoured and easy going with a strong work ethic.
- Good counting and mathematical skills.
- Fluent in English, with good communication skills.
- The job will be physically demanding, with some heavy lifting involved, so you will need to be fit and healthy.
- You’ll undergo pre-employment medical and drug testing,- ACC and MOJ checks.
