Transport Professional - Class 2
The Role:
We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Class 2 Transport Professional to join the team at our Dunedin Branch. If you have a can do, will do attitude and have experience in Metro deliveries, we’d be keen hear from you. This is permanent, full-time role.
What you'll be doing:
- Completing daily metro deliveries across Dunedin and surrounding areas.
- Loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring accurate documentation and delivery records.
- Maintaining high standards of vehicle care and road safety.
- Providing professional and friendly customer service.
- Using systems and adhering to processes to ensure client service level agreements are met.
What we're looking for:
- Full NZ Class 2 licence (essential).
- OSH forklift certificate (essential).
- Proven truck driving experience required (general freight preferred)
- Tech capable with willingness to learn new systems.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Fluent in English with great communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- A strong commitment to health and safety.
- A terrific attitude, strong worth ethic and desire to contribute to the team.
- A pre-employment medical, Drug and Alcohol testing, ACC and MOJ will be required.
