Labourer
The Role:
We're on the hunt for a self-motivated Labourer to join our Night Cross dock team at our busy Christchurch Branch. Operating 24/7, our team is critical to ensuring the timely and safe loading and unloading of freight. If you have an interest in the transport and logistics industry, are physically fit and enjoy night work, this role is for you!
Sunday to Thursday starting at 1:00pm (approx) min hours 40 hours per week.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manual freight handling and tying down of freight.
- Accurately scanning and recording freight.
- Supporting effective loading and unloading of freight.
- Supporting Cross dock operations.
- Adhering to safe working practices at all times while working in and around heavy vehicles and forklifts.
- Jumping in where operational demand requires.
- Keeping freight flowing and operations running smoothly.
