Freight Loader – Specialist Crossdock Role

This isn’t just another forklift job.

At Booth’s Logistics, Freight Loaders are critical to how our Crossdock runs. The role requires skill, judgement, and the ability to read freight quickly — balancing weight, space, timing, and workflow so trucks leave safely and on schedule.

It’s a craft built through experience.

We’re looking for a Freight Loader whose standards are high, whose work is respected by the team around them, and who takes pride in doing the job properly.

If you know your way around a busy Crossdock and take pride in loading freight the right way — we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating forklifts safely in a fast-paced Crossdock environment
• Loading and unloading trucks and containers efficiently
• Reading freight and planning loads to maximise space and balance weight
• Checking consignments for accuracy and damage
• Working closely with planners, warehouse teams and drivers to keep freight moving
• Using systems and paperwork to track freight movements
• Maintaining clean, organised work areas and strong safety standards

What You’ll Bring

• OSH Forklift Certificate (F endorsement a bonus)
• Solid forklift experience in a high-volume freight environment
• Strong attention to detail and accurate freight checking
• Good communication and teamwork
• Confidence using operational systems and technology
• Physical fitness for a hands-on role
