Class 2 / Freight Loader

The Role

Ready to roll up your sleeves and be part of a high-performing team? We’re looking for a motivated, adaptable all-rounder to join our Queenstown crew in a unique dual role. You'll be someone who thinks on their feet, takes initiative, and jumps in where needed. If you have a “can do, will do” attitude, you’ll fit right in!

No two days are the same - depending on workflow, you’ll be:

• In our Crossdock loading and unloading trucks.
• Behind the wheel completing local metro deliveries.
• Supporting the wider team to keep freight moving safely and efficiently.

Shift hours are typically Monday to Friday 7.00am to 4.30pm - however, we value your flexibility to stay on and get the job done when required - you'll also work rostered weekends.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven forklift experience and confidence loading/unloading trucks.
• A full NZ Class 2 licence with at least 3 - 5 years driving experience on NZ roads.
• Strong counting and basic maths skills.
• Experience checking consignments for damage and quantity accuracy.
• Accuracy with paperwork and good attention to detail.
• Solid computer skills and ability to learn new systems.
• A strong commitment to health & safety.
• Clear communication skills and fluent English.
• Outstanding customer service skills - you'll be the face of the company.
• Physical fitness – this role is hands-on.
• You'll undergo pre-employment medical/drug testing, and ACC and MOJ checks.
