The role in a nutshell
The purpose of this role is to lead a high-performing branch that delivers for our customers, runs efficiently, and to build a strong, capable team for the future.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be responsible for the full performance of your branch — not just keeping things moving but making them better.
- Leading and developing your team to perform at their best
- Driving a culture of safety
- Owning day-to-day operations — planning, routing, service delivery
- Managing cost, productivity, and branch performance
- Building strong customer relationships and growing the business
- Identifying opportunities to improve how we work and getting on with it
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be visible, decisive, and accountable.
What we’re looking for

- Proven experience in transport, logistics, or a similar fast-paced environment
- Strong operational leadership — you know how to run a branch properly
- Commercial mindset — you understand cost, revenue, and performance
- Ability to lead people, have the tough conversations, and lift standards
- A “can do, will do” attitude — you find solutions, not excuses
